Aliud, Loperamid AL 2 mg, 12

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, take

• Adolescents aged 12 and over should take 1 LOPERAMID AL 2 mg orodispersible tablet at the start of treatment for acute diarrhoea and 1 further orodispersible tablet after each loose stool. The maximum daily dose of 4 orodispersible tablets must not be exceeded.

• Adults: 2 orodispersible tablets at the start of treatment for acute diarrhoea. Then 1 orodispersible tablet after each loose stool. The maximum daily dose of 6 orodispersible tablets must not be exceeded.

LOPERAMID AL 2 mg orodispersible tablets are placed on the tongue. The orodispersible tablet dissolves immediately on the tongue and no further liquid intake is required.

LOPERAMID AL 2 mg orodispersible tablets should not be taken for longer than 2 days without medical advice. If diarrhea persists after 2 days of treatment with LOPERAMID AL 2 mg orodispersible tablets, the medication must be discontinued and a doctor consulted
